Pink sunset

Today at the camp there were keen surfers awaiting the call to grab their boards and head out surfing. 9am came around and after breakfast the groups divided and headed out. Today our beginners headed to Padang where they had clean 2ft sets on the mid tide with a light cross-shore wind. They had 3 sessions with the left wave even working. Some surfing for 4 hours! Some came in with a few cuts and bruises. Best Balinese cure for reef cuts- lime! Best Bali memory- seeing some poor surfer dancing around in the Warung after a kind friend has squeezed lime on their wound. Absolute classic and the joke never gets old. Today our intermediate guys and the boss surfed the East Coast in a secret location! They had 3ft clean waves and only 1 other person to share the swell with! This afternoon the gang headed down to Uluwatu for a sunset bintang and to watch the surfers tear it up on the low tide. The sunset was beautiful with hot pink colours. Back to the camp for some more beers and the famous Portuguese Fish soup with bread. Yuuummooww. Now its time to chill; kick back to the new Lost Surf DVD.
