Today the guys had, yet again, sore heads this morning at breakfast. Luckily with a late tide today they were able to sleep in and enjoy a late breakfast complete with kit-kats and coca-cola to ease in the hangover. Thankfully after this Kuta outing everyone returned home. The night was divided, after we had a great meal at the Mexican Resturant last night complete with frozen margaritas and ice-cream cookies for dessert, some headed to a local bonfire on the beach for some chilling, music and bintangs while others were after something a little more ‘intense’. The bonfire was relaxed and Kuta night out was raving with fishbowls in The Bounty. So surfing was a little slow to get going today. The beginners rounded up and headed to the local Padang for some 2ft sets growing to 3ft on the high tide. The foam boarders enjoyed the white wash while the more advanced guys took to the back for some great sets. Intermediates today surfed the East Coast again with some 3ft sets, a bit of side-shore wind and no one else in the water! That’s what they’ve paid for coming to Bali in high season for waves all to themselves and it’s us who knows the secret spots! Barbecue tonight with Aussie beef and bintangs then in true Rapture Sunday night tradition were heading on to Single Fin for some cheeky beers and bustin’ moves left right and centre. Yeeoowww!
Mexican, Bonfire and Kuta!
