Today we saw another early start with the sun rising over us in Jimbaran Bay! With the swell still hanging around the island we headed to a spot where we knew the beginners would feel comfortable and their jaws wouldn’t drop when we pull into the car park. Jimbaran pulled through with nice little fat waves rolling in for the morning session with everyone although slightly chilled had a great time. We visited Mr. McDonalds for breakfast and he pulled through with a hearty meal to power us through session two. Back in the water and the waves were slightly bigger and with the tide on its way out the guys had some narly collisions with one girl busting a lip on the reef. Yeeaahh we like to ride waves tough even if they are under 1 metre!! Another amazing seafood lunch with fresh local produce from the sea! Surfing in the bay of where your meal was caught, only in Bali! Back to the camp where some sunburnt and busted up clients rested their weary bones with a movie on the couches while others jumped back in the van and headed to Uluwatu. The waves were pumping at Ulus, 5-6ft and although a little choppy still looked amazing! As the sunset over this magnificent place, we sat with Bintangs and watched the day turn to night. A client turned to me and said with absolutely satisfaction and honesty “I could do this everyday.”
From where you'd rather be...
